The Wolf Course
From the back tees, this golf course can stretch to over 7,600 yards, making it the longest golf course in Nevada. The Wolf has more undulations in the fairways than you'd usually find on a desert golf course. Because the land surrounding it is flat with plenty of rocks, it will take a couple of trips around the track to determine the best place to hit the ball off the tees. The Wolf features many doglegs and several forced carries over desert waste areas. The greens have numerous false fronts and backs that can lead the ball away from the hole if you hit an errant shot.
The Wolf is the newest and most difficult course at Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort. It's also known as the signature golf course of the resort. With a remarkable length and raw beauty, the golf course is infamous for its severe undulations, alternate landing areas, and the stunning 15th hole's island green. The Wolf opened in 2001. The par-3 15th is reminiscent of the 17th hole at Sawgrass with its island green, playing anywhere from 98 to 182 yards. The last hole of the Wolf is not only long, but there is also water down much of the right side.
