Starting with Kingsmill Resort, the perfect golf resort for the non-discriminating golfer, is home to 36-holes of wonderful golf. So much so, that the River Course (Pete Dye) is the host site for the LPGA's Kingsmill Championship. With the finest of luxury amenities and exceptional pricing, golfers cannot go wrong.
Moving on with the theme of non-discriminating golfers, is the Golden Horeshoe Golf Club, home to the Green Course and the Gold Course (re-opening after renovations in the summer of 2017). Rees Jones, son of original designer of the Gold Course, Robert Trent Jones SR., and Greg Muirhead are overseeing the restoration, which by all accounts will be spectacular.
In addition to these great resort courses are other area gems in Royal New Kent, The Tradition at Stonehouse, and Brickshire, all of which are must plays.
Destination Kohler, home of the world-renowned Straits Course, which in past years has been the host site for the PGA Championship in 2004, 2010 and most recently in 2015, both of which were thrilling finishes. The Straits Course is also the future site to the 2020 Ryder Cup.

Starting with the obvious, a must play for any and all avid golfers is the Home of Golf, St. Andrews Old Course. Golfers tend to either love it from the moment they arrive on the first tee, while some don't quite get it, but soon come to love it after playing it more than once.
