Commonly Asked Questions

Reunion Resort

How can I make the best of my golf vacation at Reunion Resort & Golf Club?

If you decide to have a vacation at the Reunion Resort & Golf Club, you'll be amazed at what this destination has to offer. Although the resort was built in 2004, it rapidly became one of the most luxurious and sought-after in Orlando. In addition to the three superb golf courses you can play at the Reunion Resort & Golf Club, there are many engaging amenities you and your friends or family can enjoy. This is a short presentation of the golf courses that will test your skill at the resort:

  • Arnold Palmer: This golf course offers 6,916 yards of exciting play with up to 50 feet of elevation changes. Previously known as the Legacy course, it features soft undulations and is heavily bunkered. The back nine features some memorable holes, especially as you get closer to the end of your round, where the dramatic 18th awaits. Palmer’s course is as close to a resort-style course as Reunion offers, but it is very challenging. Five sets of tee markers ensure that players of various skill levels can find a manageable distance between 4,795 yards and 6,916 yards.
  • Tom Watson: Featuring wide-open greens, rolling fairways, and strategically-placed bunkers, this golf course requires a well-calculated game. This is perhaps the most distinct course at the resort. The layout measures 7,154 yards from the back tees, but the golf course is more about strategy than length. Watson’s course has a parkland layout with a windswept appearance, framed by a wide variety of native grasses, azaleas, hibiscus, and other plants. The presence of elevated greens means golfers will need to fly their shots to the putting surfaces.
  • Jack Nicklaus: The golf course architect has never been known to take it easy on players when designing courses. He notoriously has very difficult tracks, as they are narrow and long, and the greens have significant undulation. A signature of Nicklaus’ courses is a tame open hole – he lets you ease into the game. The first hole is a straightforward, shorter par 4. After that, you should expect the rest of the course to be more challenging. Compared to the other two at the resort, you’ll notice the narrower fairways, long yardage, and trickier greens.

In between rounds or at the end of the day, you can relish a delicious meal at one of the seven Reunion Resort & Golf Club restaurants. At Chophouse, fresh seafood and steaks are cooked daily, and the enhancements are made with fresh vegetables and bold spices, while at Eleven, you can dine in elegant style on the rooftop and enjoy a variety of small plates and craft cocktails. Furthermore, the resort has numerous amenities you can engage in besides playing golf, such as tennis courts, pickleball, bike rentals, swimming, bocce ball, and miniature golf.

Mission Inn Resort

What does Mission Inn Resort have to offer to golfers?

As one of Florida's top golf resorts, Mission Inn Resort has two championship courses. The golf experience is remarkable from the scenery – hills rolling and pitching, mature pine and magnolia trees towering, eagles and ospreys flying overhead. The terrain provides up to 85 ft. elevation changes and a peaceful ambiance void of fairway houses and condos. These are the golf courses you can play at Mission Inn Resort:

  • El Campeón Championship Course: Built in 1917 and designed by George O'Neil, this golf course is surrounded by natural Florida beauty. It's one of the South's oldest golf courses and blends unusual Central Florida elevation changes with features of traditional golf design, including breathtaking rolling fairways and undulating greens. The signature hole is the par 5, 17th hole, which features a long double dogleg that has more obstacles than some entire golf courses. El Campeón has garnered many national awards and is annually recognized as one of the top 25 golf courses in Florida. It's a challenge even for seasoned golfers.
  • Las Colinas Championship Course: Designed by Gary Koch and built in 1992, this golf course offers quite a different challenge than El Campeón. It has an inland links design with generous, wide-open fairways, rolling hills, and large, undulating greens. The width of the fairways, the design of the extensive undulating greens, and the many tees at each hole give the course great versatility, meaning it's suitable for professional competitions. Still, it offers any player a pleasant, enjoyable, and affordable experience. Las Colinas was nominated by Golf Digest as "Best New Resort Course" upon opening.

In addition to golf, Mission Inn Resort also offers several restaurants where you can dine with your friends or family in between golf rounds. Perhaps the most famous restaurant of the resort is El Conquistador, where you can have a memorable dining experience. Finally, the resort also has a spa, where you can relax after a rewarding golf round or at the end of the day.
