Pebble Beach Golf Links is one of the most renowned and visually stunning golf courses in the world, located on the Monterey Peninsula in California. Can spectators watch from the course?
Yes, non-playing guests may walk the course on cart paths after checking in at the pro shop, or ride in a golf cart for a fee (children under seven are not permitted in carts).
What is the dress code?
Players must wear golf shirts and slacks or walking shorts. No denim, cargo pants, or athletic wear. Soft-spiked or rubber-soled shoes are required.
How far in advance can I book a tee time?
Resort guests staying at The Lodge, The Inn at Spanish Bay, or Casa Palmero can book up to 18 months ahead. Non-resort guests may reserve only 24 hours in advance, subject to availability.
Is a caddie required at Pebble Beach Golf Links?
Caddies are not required but strongly recommended due to the course's historic layout and challenging terrain. You may also carry your own bag or use a cart where permitted.

There are two answers, the first is no, which is the best rule of thumb to stick with when planning a golf vacation to Pebble Beach Resort. To play Pebble Beach Golf Links golfers must be guests of the resort, otherwise, they can book 24 hours prior to the day of play, which is not conducive to playing a bucket list course, especially Pebble Beach as tee times fill up rather quickly.
